OLYMPUS HISTORY AND VALUES
OLYMPUS HISTORY
The name Olympus means the abode of the Gods in Greek and Roman mythology. Mount Olympus where the greater gods were said to have lived is an inspiration for our School and like the mountain, we strive towards raising each of our students to higher and higher levels of achievements.
Olympus School was founded in the year 2015 by Mr. Arvind S. Kanchan. Our aim was to build an education home, which will see to the all round upbringing of its students.
Since 2015 tremendous changes and developments under the careful guidance of Mr. Abhishek Kanchan and Mrs. Bhakti Shewale has enhanced the school to serve better and quality education. We are all set on a journey towards excellence and will make better, best with each passing year.
OLYMPUS VALUES
Our core values are based on the mix of traditional and modern thinking. Where we celebrate the modern traditions of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, we also imbibe in our children the age old values of ‘Mata, Pitah, Guru Daivam’, where in parents and teachers are to be treated with utmost respect. Values such as ‘Matru Devo Bhava’, ‘Pitru Devo Bhava’ and ‘Guru Devo Bhava’ are given prime importance and children are taught this at various ages through various methods.
Not limited to school and people around us, children are also taught values to serve the country with deeds of pride. Values which will help the children to bring about a change in the society among things those are incorrect.
